Skanda Iyer
Class of '25
Skanda is currently a freshman at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he is majoring in Music Education. He is fully immersed in the university’s musical community as a member of several ensembles and is actively engaged in the Marching Illini program. Skanda is enjoying his studies and is particularly looking forward to traveling to Ireland with the Marching Illini in March 2026.
Matt Oyibo
Class of '25
Matt Oyibo is attending Illinois State University studying a Bachelor's in Music Education with a minor in Jazz. In his first year, he played in ISU's top ensembles, most notable traveling to Iowa with a trumpet quintet to compete in the National Trumpet Competition. He is looking forward to entering the workforce and giving back to the community that supported him through his musical journey.
