Walnut Valley Educators Association
Walnut Valley Educators Association
On Wednesday, March 11th, WVEA members gathered at Innovation Brew Works in Pomona for our Together We Celebrate event. Members stopped by between 3–7 PM to connect, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks together.
The event brought together educators from across the district to spend time with colleagues, meet members of our Association leadership, and strengthen the sense of community that makes WVEA strong. Attendees enjoyed pizza, wings, salad, breadsticks, beverages, and plenty of great conversations.
Events like these remind us that our union is not just about the work we do in negotiations and advocacy—it’s also about building relationships and supporting one another.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to seeing you at future WVEA events!
This Thursday, WVEA members across the district showed their solidarity by wearing red in support of our union negotiations team.
By participating in Red for Ed, members demonstrated a visible commitment to standing together as we work toward a fair contract that supports educators and our students. Seeing so many members wearing red across our schools was a powerful reminder that our strength comes from unity.
Thank you to everyone who participated and showed their support. When we stand together, our voices are stronger.
