Join us for the AI & Data Science and Leadership Workshops on 16-17 July 2024 from 09:30 to 16:00 GMT at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, Depok!
The workshops are part of the British Council-funded Going Global Partnerships project, a collaboration between Anglia Ruskin University, Universitas Indonesia, and the Women in Engineering IEEE Indonesia Section.
The event is designed to inspire and motivate high school, college, and university students to pursue rewarding careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). By hearing from accomplished women leaders across STEM fields, attendees will gain valuable insights into overcoming challenges, thriving in the industry, and building successful careers.

Meet the Speakers
Nur Afny is a faculty member at BINUS University, Indonesia, and currently a visiting scholar at KU Leuven, Belgium. She serves as Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering Indonesia, where she advocates for women's empowerment and advancement in engineering and technology. Her research focuses on the application of AI in healthcare and imaging science, particularly in developing diagnostic tools to improve healthcare delivery. She promotes interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, medicine, and technology to drive innovation in healthcare systems. Alongside her expertise in AI and healthcare, she is also interested in AI governance and ethical AI, especially within educational contexts.
Prima is an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. She is actively involved in the IEEE Indonesia Section’s Women in Engineering initiative. She holds a bachelor's degree from Universitas Indonesia, a master's degree from Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany, and a PhD from Universitas Indonesia.
