3D Modelling Projects
3D Modelling Projects
This was made for a biomedical company during my interview process. Its goal was to control the flow of blood within a small machine using solenoid electromagnet motors to produce a force with the levers of 15N. The longest side of this project is only around 4 inches, so my greatest challenge was creating a motor and mechanical design to produce a strong enough within its small size constraints.
Using Fusion 360, I made a fully functional electronic pencil sharpener. To the left is the rendered model, above is a section analysis, and to the right are the mechanical systems inside the project. The project required a lot of organization and editing to fit all of the 21 components together.
This project was guided by Autodesk's YouTube series by Brad Tallis: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmA_xUT-8UlIywQR5Sy-GhOD4vCXJt2wm
In my CGT 16300 Spatial Analysis and Graphics course, I created a dog catching a frisbee with Lego pieces on Siemens NX. To do this, I parametrically modeled one Lego piece using an Excel Spreadsheet to have the code automatically generate 45 other blocks based on the original with different colors, widths, and lengths.
In Solidworks for my Engt 18100 Engineering Applications Lab, I modeled and coded this project for a CNC machine. The CNC machine then drilled and carved away material from two plastic blocks that I later screwed together and added an electronic music maker to. My biggest challenge for this project was learning how to program the CNC machine to cut the material and soldering my electronics together.
