You ever felt like you wanted to know about writing? Like you feel a certain urge to just randomly brush up on your grammar and vocabulary? Most people nowadays use abbreviations to type, and often forget how to spell the actual words. This may be because of the way their friends type, or it’s just popular, however this article will support you in improving your grammar and writing skills.
Whenever you’re writing something on a formal occasion, such as for work or school, always use proper grammar and punctuation, you don’t want to make a fool of yourself using “idk,” or “smh.” By using proper grammar, you show that you’re serious on whatever it is that you’re talking about, and your peer/superior will most definitely appreciate it. According to an article by “Indeed,” “A well-composed professional email provides the recipient with friendly, clear, concise and actionable message.”
Plus, if you use proper grammar and punctuation, you’re showing that you sound like you know what you messaged them for and came to them with clear intentions, therefore gaining trust and a sense of professionalism. Secondly, expanding your vocabulary isn’t bad, it makes you sound smarter and more mannerful when you use big words, or speak a sentence fluidly. Thirdly, memorize how to spell new words you learn. You can sound them out, which usually helps, or you can write it so much to the point where you know what to write next.
Those are essentially the three skills for better writing in a nutshell. Use proper punctuation and grammar, expand your vocabulary, learn new words, go have fun with them, and learn how to spell these words, but also know variants of a word (such as your and you’re) which often get confused easily. By improving your writing skills, you’re developing a life-long skill that can open many possibilities and can always have benefits in many ways, it’s only a matter of finding how it can benefit you.
