I'm Garrard Conley, your instructor for Literary Nonfiction. I'm so glad you're here!

This class will teach you various nonfiction genres, introduce you to a new workshop model, and provide you with a writing community that may last well beyond the class.

By exploring and writing in these genres, you will learn how to communicate effectively in multiple ways that will prepare you for just about anything you want to do in the future.

I'm also a big fan of anything that makes these virtual spaces seem more inviting, and nothing is more inviting to me than a kitten gently pawing a cherry on an infinite loop (above). Feel free to communicate in the spirit of this kitten.
