Communication Plan

All emails should be sent to me using the D2L system. (I'll still respond if you forget this and send to my KSU email.)

I will check emails each afternoon during the work week (Monday through Friday) and respond within 24 hours of receipt of email.

I will check email once during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and will respond by Monday at noon to your weekend questions.

During the work week, if you have not heard back from me within 24 hours, please follow up. Occasionally, the system experiences technical problems and emails do not get sent out.

Posts on Discussion boards will be monitored and responded to within 48 hours.

You can expect at a minimum one reply to your original discussion post.

For minor assignments, I will post your grades in the D2L Grades section within 72 hours of an assignment due date.

For major assignments, such as essays and revisions, you can expect feedback the week of your workshop and a grade within the week of said workshop.

In the event these deadlines cannot be met, an email will be sent out to the class prior to the due date for an assignment.
