Middle School Bands

Middle School Bands are organized by years of playing experience so that any student may take band regardless of their grade level. Every middle school band class meets daily for 50 minutes and is held in the band room that is located in the East Wing of the high school building.

Advanced Band

Students who have completed two full years of band instruction and are currently in their 3rd year of playing an instrument. Students in the Advanced Band should be able to demonstrate mastery of their instrument at Grade 2 1/2 - 3 Level.

Intermediate Band

Students who have completed one full year of band instruction and are currently in their 2nd year of playing an instrument. Students in the Intermediate Band should be able to demonstrate mastery of their instrument at the Grade 2 Level.

Beginning Band

Students with less than one year of instruction and those playing at the beginner level to learn an instrument. Students in the Beginning Band should be able demonstrate mastery of their instrument at Grade 1/2 - 1 Level.
