Effective 10 October 2026
This policy covers Worm Garden 1.2 for iPhone. Game progress stays on your device. Optional purchases use Apple StoreKit; optional rewarded advertising uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). No game account or developer-operated gameplay analytics service is required.
Who is responsible
Alex Vaitsiakhovich, based in Cyprus, provides Worm Garden and is responsible for personal information handled for our support service and website. Contact us about privacy using our support form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3BZ0eGksyf1n7vNEm1uOEcDAxF2bATJp-g0m3wVeITkudQg/viewform). This policy covers the current iOS game and these support pages. Apple services have their own privacy terms.
Information stored on your device
The game saves completed garden beds, star ratings, active attempts, selected cosmetics, Dewdrops, supplies, reward and purchase-delivery receipts, tutorial progress, daily challenges, and sound and motion preferences. It also uses device time to manage local activities. This information is stored in local app storage; the game does not upload it to us.
The app does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location. It does not display an App Tracking Transparency permission request or request access to the IDFA advertising identifier. These choices do not mean that advertising services process no data; see the advertising section below.
Purchases through Apple
Apple processes both optional purchases: No Ads + Extras (a permanent, non-consumable purchase) and Gardener’s Bundle (a consumable purchase). Neither is a subscription. The app uses StoreKit to verify transactions and the permanent entitlement, deliver purchases, restore the eligible permanent purchase, and respond to entitlement refunds or revocations. Transaction identifiers are recorded locally to prevent duplicate delivery. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password, and the game does not send transaction records to a developer-operated server. Apple maintains its own payment and transaction records under the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
No Ads + Extras removes advertising offers and enables the stated Harvest extras. Gardener’s Bundle adds 150 Dewdrops and 3 each of Shovel, Fertilizer and Seed to the local profile. It does not add Drops. Consumables cannot be replenished through Restore Purchases after they are used, and we do not operate cross-device consumable storage.
Optional rewarded advertising and privacy choices
When advertising is configured and available, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad for the benefit shown on screen. The game has no banner or interstitial ads. Declining an ad does not prevent playing the Gardens campaign. No Ads + Extras owners do not receive advertising offers.
Google Mobile Ads and UMP may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or app identifiers, advertising and app interactions, consent choices, crash reports and performance or other diagnostic data. These services use data to deliver and measure advertising, manage privacy choices, prevent abuse and diagnose service performance. We have not added a separate gameplay analytics SDK; Google’s advertising measurement and diagnostics are distinct from that choice.
The app disables Google’s publisher first-party ID and publisher privacy personalization setting. It does not ask for ATT authorization. Advertising privacy choices are managed through UMP when required and can be revisited using Advertising privacy in Settings when that option is available. A privacy form is separate from Apple’s tracking permission. Ad availability depends on your region, privacy choices, connectivity and service availability.
Google receives information directly when its consent or advertising services are used. Read Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), how Google uses information from apps using its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites), and Google’s iOS advertising data disclosure (https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/privacy/data-disclosure) for its processing and controls.
If you contact support
If you choose to contact us through the support form, we receive your reply email, message and submission timestamp. You may include your app version, device model, iOS version or puzzle name to help us investigate. These details are not automatically sent by the game. If you later reply by email, we receive the correspondence and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, full payment card details, or unnecessary personal information.
We use support correspondence to answer your request, investigate problems, assist with purchase issues, and handle privacy requests. We do not use it for advertising or mailing lists. Contacting support is optional. The form requires a reply email so we can answer; no Google account is required. Form responses are private and are not published on the website.
Website and service providers
Opening these pages makes an ordinary web request. The hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver the page and protect the service. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. The Support page embeds a Google Form and also links to it directly.
The legal and support pages and embedded support form use Google Sites and Google Forms. The separate marketing page uses Google Firebase Hosting. Google receives technical information, such as IP address, browser information and request time, to deliver and protect these services. Sites and Forms may use cookies and other technologies; we add no analytics or advertising scripts to these pages.
Google Forms stores your submitted reply email, message and submission timestamp privately in the developer’s Google account. New-response notifications are delivered to the developer’s Gmail inbox; replies and later correspondence may be stored in Gmail. Google describes its processing, retention and international data transfers in its Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
We use Google to host these pages and handle support. Google may process information outside your country; its Privacy Policy explains the international transfer mechanisms it uses. See Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Apple independently operates the App Store, payments and device services.
Why we process information
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we handle support requests as necessary to provide requested support or perform our contract with you. We rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure service for proportionate troubleshooting, service security and relevant records, subject to your rights. We also process information where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations. Where advertising services require consent or an opt-out choice, the applicable privacy form explains the choice. You may revisit available advertising privacy options in Settings. The legal basis for Google’s own processing is explained in its disclosures and applicable consent message. We do not make automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains in the app’s storage until the app data is deleted. To remove it on iOS, use Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Worm Garden → Delete App. Offload App retains documents and data. Deleting the app does not erase Apple’s purchase records or cancel your ownership of a non-consumable purchase.
Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple or computer backup settings. A restored backup may restore progress. We do not operate cloud save or have remote access to your local progress; manage backups through your device or backup provider.
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, investigate related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations or handle disputes. We then delete it or remove identifying information. You can request deletion through the support form; information that must be retained for a specific legal reason is limited to that purpose. Service-provider logs and backup retention are described in the provider disclosures above.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Use our support form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3BZ0eGksyf1n7vNEm1uOEcDAxF2bATJp-g0m3wVeITkudQg/viewform) to exercise your rights. We may request only the information reasonably necessary to verify and fulfil your request, and will respond within applicable legal time limits. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not maintain a player account that requires account deletion.
Children and families
The game does not ask players of any age to provide a name, date of birth, email address or other personal information to play. It has no chat or user-posting features. Parents or guardians should handle support correspondence and purchases for children. If you believe a child sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security and changes
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including restricted access to support correspondence and protected provider accounts. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We will update this policy when the game’s actual data practices change and revise the effective date. If changes require a notice or consent, we will provide it as required. New data practices must be assessed and disclosed before introduction. This policy does not promise that future accounts, analytics or subscriptions will be added.
