As an educator, working in environments where access to technology can be rare, parent engagement nonexistent and faculty turnover very high; educating our students is an essential reflection of mind and heart. Whereby we daily look into our souls and consult the energies and hopes that bring us to school everyday. Building relationships to foster deep knowledge becomes a shared life that demands us as educators to be both independent in spirit and collaborative at heart. Create organic relationships with students and families, create a safe space for students to feel comfortable to seek support and continue to hold high expectations for all students while encouraging them to stop making excuses and begin creating solutions.
