I have had many job titles in the edtorial realm: General Manager, Editor in Chief, Managing Editor, U.S. Editor, Editor - and probably a few I'm forgetting. Titles don't motivate me; the work does.
As an editor, I've been able to create foundational frameworks that increase traffic and revenue. I have started websites from scratch to over one million monthly unique views inside of 9 months, and "rebuilt" brands to achieve their best all-time traffic benchmarks.
I'm a data driven thinker with a growth mindset. Every site I've lead has grown while under my purview; a statistic I'm quite proud of!
My proudest achievements are the teams I've built. Those who have worked with me can tell you I'm a supportive, empathetic, collaborative leader who creates environments where everyone thrives and understands their importance. Without a great team, no brand or website stands a chance.
Results don't just come from great content. Sometimes, you have to go find the audience.
I don't view content marketing and my work as an editor as separate. To me, those efforts are one in the same. I've always had control of newsletters and scoial media as an editor, and I've worked closely with internal PR teams to surface content to appropriate channels to extend our organic reach.
Though it's sometimes necessary, I resist spending money to surface content to readers. Quality and consistency are more sustainable than purchasing traffic.

Liased with sales and marketing teams to create over 30 new revenue streams and partnerships for sites I lead
Increased newsletter open rate from 8% to 31%, and grew subscribership from 30,000 to 150,000 organically
Increased newsletter revenue 500%
I have written for agencies and brands, and have a deep history of creating great content in a variety of forms.
Whether it's B2B, B2C, website copy, white-papers, documentation, newsletters, or blog posts, I've done a lot of great work across a variety of mediums.
While I wish I could link to everything here, the truth is much of my work as a freelance writer was ghostwritten or otherwise not content my name is directly attached to. As a freelancer, I am sometimes not provided access to the portals my content is hosted as it's often industry-specific or behind a paywall.

My writing style is concise and clear. I believe in brevity, but also engaging the reader on their level. I like to have fun in my writing, but I'm cognizant my articles are not always a forum to wax philosophical.
When writing, I always try to return value to readers. I'm always thinking about SEO (word count, keyword inclusion, imagery, EEAT, etc.) when writing. I want readers to love the content, and I want that content in fron to fas many eyes as possible - organically.
