Housing and Travel

Housing

Housing is available at the Prince Conference Center on the Calvin University campus. Hotel rooms in the Prince Center are equipped with either two queen beds or one king bed. Participants are encouraged to share rooms wherever possible. The cost for each room is $110 per night plus tax. A complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is included. Parking is free and ample.

In order to receive the conference rate you must reserve your room on the workshop registration form. Room reservations must be made by May 21, 2024. On that date the block of rooms that has been set aside for workshop participants will be released.

Because of the large number of registrants, many participants will also be housed in the on campus dorms.

Air travel

The Gerald R. Ford Airport (GRR) is located just 15 minutes from campus and is served by most major airlines.

Other forms of transportation

Grand Rapids is easily reached by car from Chicago or Detroit (driving directions). Another good option is the high speed car ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon (lake-express.com). There is daily Amtrak rail service between Grand Rapids and Chicago (the Pere Marquette).
