Write in any language — we read English, Ukrainian, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian. Please include your device model and iOS version.
Each day there is one secret word. Every word you type is ranked by how close its meaning is to the secret — not by its spelling. Rank 1 is the word itself. A guess at rank 40 is very warm; a guess at rank 9000 is cold. There is no limit on the number of tries.
The game says it doesn't know a word I typed.
The dictionary holds around 40 000 words per language, chosen to be words people actually use. Very rare words, proper names, brand names and abbreviations are deliberately not included. If a genuinely common word is missing, please tell us which one and in which language — we add missing words in updates.
I typed a word in a different form and it accepted a different one.
That is intentional. If you type an inflected form the game maps it to the dictionary form and tells you which word it used. This is why "socks" can resolve to "sock".
My guess ranked much further away than I expected.
Ranking comes from how the two words are used in language overall, not from your personal association. Words with several meanings sit between those meanings, so they often rank further out than you would guess.
Why is there no word about certain topics?
Words involving violence, weapons, drugs, sexual content and similar are removed from the game entirely. A second group — illness, death and other heavy subjects — can still be typed and ranked, but the game itself will never offer them as the word of the day or as a hint.
Can I play offline?
Yes. The entire game runs on your device. No internet connection is needed at any point.
Can I change the game language?
Settings → Game language. The interface language follows your device settings separately.
I lost my streak / statistics.
Progress is stored only on your device — we hold no copy and cannot restore it. It is lost if the app is deleted or the device is reset without a backup. Restoring an iPhone backup restores the game data with it.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Not currently. Each device keeps its own progress.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or it renews. Cancelling during a free trial keeps access until the trial ends.
I paid but the features are still locked.
Open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.
I want a refund.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought hints and they disappeared.
Hint credits are stored on the device. If they vanished after an update, email us — we can help.
The most useful report includes: what you did, what happened, what you expected, your device model, iOS version, the app version (Settings → About) and the game language. A screenshot helps.
