WordLava collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. The app has no networking code at all — it cannot send your data anywhere, because it never talks to a server.
Everything below is simply the detail behind that sentence.
The game stores this locally, on your device only:
your guesses and which words you solved
your streak, statistics and archive of past days
your settings: game language, theme, win effect, reminder time
hint credits and streak freezes you own
This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is gone — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.
We do not create accounts or ask for your name, email or phone number.
We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
We do not show advertising and do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
We do not track you across apps or websites, so the app never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
We do not use cookies, fingerprinting or any profiling.
We do not sell, share or transfer personal data, because we do not hold any.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your payment details go to Apple, never to us. We receive no card numbers, no billing address and no name.
The app asks Apple whether a valid subscription exists, and stores only the answer — a yes or no — on your device, so that paid features work instantly at launch.
Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you switch on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally by your device. No push server is involved and no token is sent anywhere. Turning the reminder off removes it.
When you challenge a friend, the app generates a short code and you share it yourself, through whichever app you choose. The code contains only a language tag and a number pointing at a word in the game's built-in list. It carries no information about you, and it does not pass through us.
The game's word lists and semantic data are built from open sources and ship inside the app. They are static files: they contain no user data and are never uploaded. Attribution is on the Licences screen inside the app (Settings → About → Licences).
WordLava is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be about clarity rather than new data collection.
