Local Centre Public Consultation

Persimmon Homes is now seeking the community’s views on what uses you would like to see at Woolavington West as part of the mixed use local centre, should the site be allocated in the Council's emerging Local Plan. The location of the mixed use local centre in the illustrative masterplan is circled in yellow in the below image. These uses could include shops, healthcare facilities, community space and leisure facilities. The local centre extends to around 1.8 acres (0.75ha).

Previous Public Consultation

Earlier this year, Persimmon Homes consulted with residents of Woolavington and Puriton on the vision for Woolavington West. This included an online public consultation event on the 15th July 2024, held over Microsoft Teams, which included a short presentation and then a Questions & Answers section. This consultation followed previous consultation sessions with Woolavington Parish Council and Puriton Parish Council, earlier in the year.
