The Student Activity Council (SAC), is the official governing authority of the student body at The Woodlands School. It facilitates, monitors and oversees the operation of all student activities organized within the school by approving event proposals and distributing funds to extracurricular organizations.
To facilitate school spirit, maintain a positive atmosphere within the school, promote and celebrate the diverse social and cultural experience of the school, and foster a sense of pride and community amongst the student body, SAC hosts social functions and activities such as spirit days and the Semi-Formal, sometimes coordinating with other clubs to create events like Carnival or Rams Day (see Events).
In addition to hosting events, SAC officially represents the student body to the public and acts as a liaison between students and the school’s teachers and administration. SAC also runs the Super Council.
See the SAC Constitution for information on membership eligibility.
