Our apartments are 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom flat (one-level; ground level) on the west side of Carbondale, near the Murdale shopping center. The apartments have a spacious open plan from the kitchen to the dining/living room. Our apartments are in one of the most convenient and comfortable locations in town, with easy access to groceries and Rt 13, but not too close to hear highway noises.

SIU Carbondale is such a staple of housing in town that a lot of housing is geared towards students. We are NOT student housing, having large spaces in a quieter neighborhood, that is has a decent walkability score to groceries, parks, and activities nearby. We are geared for young professionals, new families, or even retired individuals looking to downsize their home.

The apartments rent range from $850-895 per month depending on which unit.
These are four-plexes, with two buildings, for a total of eight units.
The master bedroom has an attached master bathroom with a seated shower, as well as a walk-in closet. It s quite large!
The second bedroom is smaller than the main bedroom but could work as an office-space as well. It would be great home for professionals or young families.
The kitchen is spacious and has a dishwasher along with a built in microwave-hood above the stove. The washer and dryer for the laundry is also located in the kitchen in the utility closet there, but are out of the way.
The living room and dining room are an open plan directly connected to the kitchen area, separated by a breakfast counter (we recommend getting some stools!)
To the back of the kitchen is a back door to the large deck area and carport! There are two parking spots, one is under the carport and the other is uncovered. There is an ADDITIONAL locked storage space outside in the carport area that measures 3.5'x6.5'.

Living in Carbondale, there's a lot of student housing. We are not student housing, and have a higher standard of living, with fully featured apartments

Being right behind the Murdale shopping center allows for a lot of convenience in getting local produce and organic foods. Good walkability Score! Carbondale's average is 18 points lower at 41
