OUR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY
October 19th - The Woodridge Volunteer Corps was officially established, and the very first team meeting was held.
May 13th - The very first team deployment assisting the Woodridge Rotary at their annual Recycling Extravaganza.
May 25th - Team members participated in a multi-juridictional active shooter training at Benedictine University.
May 29th - Team members gathered at the Woodridge Memorial Day Parade and Service.
June 1st - Team members participated in a multi-juridictional active shooter training at Benedictine University.
June 11th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge Neighbors Helping Neighbors Picnic.
June 15th - 17th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge Jubilee.
June 25th - Team members assisted the Downers Grove Rotary on the final night of Rotary Grove Fest.
August 2nd - Team members assisted at Woodridge Police Departments National Night Out.
October 21st - Team members participated as victims for New Lenox CERT Class final practicum
October 21st - Team members assisted the Woodridge Park District at the Haunted Forest Walk
November 4th - Team members assisted at the ribbon cutting for the new Woodridge Police Department
November 23rd - Team members assisted the Grove Express Foundation at the Annual Grove Express 5K Race
In 2023, the Team collectively volunteered for 160 hours!
January 18th - Team members assisted at the retirement celebration for Chief Cunningham
