• October 19th - The Woodridge Volunteer Corps was officially established, and the very first team                        meeting was held. 

• May 13th - The very first team deployment assisting the Woodridge Rotary at their annual Recycling Extravaganza. 

• May 25th - Team members participated in a multi-juridictional active shooter training at   Benedictine University.

• May 29th - Team members gathered at the Woodridge Memorial Day Parade and Service. 

• June 1st - Team members participated in a multi-juridictional active shooter training at             Benedictine University.

• June 11th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge Neighbors Helping Neighbors Picnic. 

• June 15th - 17th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge Jubilee. 

• June 25th - Team members assisted the Downers Grove Rotary on the final night of Rotary Grove             Fest. 

• August 2nd - Team members assisted at Woodridge Police Departments National Night Out. 

• October 21st - Team members participated as victims for New Lenox CERT Class final practicum.

• October 21st - Team members assisted the Woodridge Park District at the Haunted Forest Walk.

• November 4th - Team members assisted at the ribbon cutting for the new Woodridge Police                           Department.

• November 23rd - Team members assisted the Grove Express Foundation at the Annual Grove                     Express 5K Race.

In 2023, the Team collectively volunteered for 160 hours! 

• April 24th - Team members, along with members of the Lisle team, assisted the Woodridge Police             Department in a search operation. 

• May 10th - Team members assisted the Woodridge Rotary at their annual Recycling                Extravaganza.  

• May 26th - Team members gathered at the Woodridge Memorial Day Parade and Service. 

• May 31st - Team members assisted at the LaGrange Pet Parade, IEMA mutual aid request.

• June 12th ~ 14th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge Jubilee. 

• June 19th ~ 22nd - Team members assisted the Downers Grove Rotary at Grove Fest. 

• July 4th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge 4th of July Picnic.

• July 4th - Team members assisted at the Woodridge 4th of July Fireworks. 

• August 1st - Team members assisted Woodridge Churches and Woodridge Rotary setting up for                 school backpack giveaway stuffing. 

• August 2nd - Team members assisted Woodridge Churches and Woodridge Rotary stuffing                         backpacks for the school backpack giveaway.  

• August 5 - Team members assisted at Woodridge Police Departments National Night Out. 

• August 2nd - Team members assisted Woodridge Churches and Woodridge Rotary at the                                school backpack giveaway.  

• September 20th - Team members assisted at the Palos Park Autumn Festival Parade, CERT                               mutual aid request.

• October 11 - Team members assisted at Lisle-Woodridge and Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection                        Districts Open House.

• October 24th ~ 25th - Team members assisted the Woodridge Park District at the Haunted Forest   Walk.

• October 25th - Team members assisted the Village of Woodridge and Woodridge Library at the                           Trunk-or-Treat.

• November 8th ~ 9th - Team members assisted Woodridge Rotary and DuPage Girl Scouts at the   Pumpkin Smash. 

• November 23rd - Team members assisted at Woodridge Winterfest. 

• November 27th - Team members assisted the Grove Express Foundation at the Annual Grove                     Express 5K Race.

In 2025, the Team collectively volunteered for 900 hours! 

• January 31st - Team members assisted at Red Cross Resource Center for victims of an apartment                   building fire.  

• February 14th - Team members participated in the Woodridge Police Department's Community     Roll Call at Windsor Lakes. 

• March 22nd - Team members assisted at the Trailblazers of Woodridge program. 

• April 7th - Team members participated in an Active Shooter drill at LaGrange Hospital. 

• April 7th - Team members participated in an Active Shooter drill at LaGrange Hospital. 

• April 15th - Team members participated in an Active Shooter drill at GlenOaks Hospital. 

• April 17th - Team members delivered a presentation to Scout Troop 511 about the team and                         best practices for disaster and emergency preparedness.
