How does WoodBot work?  

WoodBot uses artificial intelligence to identify trees, plants, and wood types in your uploaded photos. Simply take or upload a photo, and the AI analyzes the image to provide identification and useful information such as characteristics, habitat, and possible uses.  

Do I need a subscription to use the app?  

WoodBot offers limited access without a subscription. You can use the core features of the app for free. A subscription is only required to unlock unlimited identifications, offline mode, and an ad-free experience.  

What if the app isn’t working?  

If WoodBot is not working properly, try the following:  

• Make sure you’re connected to the internet.  

• Use a clear, well-lit photo where the tree, plant, or wood sample is fully visible and in focus.  

• Restart the app or reinstall it if needed.  

• If issues persist, feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance.  

Who shouldn’t use WoodBot?  

• Children under 13 (the app isn't designed for them).  

• Anyone needing precise or official identifications for legal, commercial, or safety-critical purposes.  

• Anyone uploading inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content (this may result in access being revoked).
