Our Program
Programs
We believe that every child is unique, each with their own potential and talents to contribute to the world. We also recognize that the early childhood years are the most formative in a child’s life.
Our programs are designed to inspire and nurture every child’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth, as well as the development of their senses. We achieve this through art, movement, music, self-directed play, storytelling, and more.
Our pedagogy fosters self-confidence, creativity, and self-discovery, while cultivating empathy and a strong sense of will. It establishes a solid foundation for lifelong learning and prepares children for a more structured academic curriculum in primary school and beyond.
Joyful Light Parent & Child Playgroup
[18 months to 3.5 years old]
This parent-accompanied playgroup offers you and your little one the chance to experience a peaceful, warm, and home-like environment. It supports your child’s development through activities such as nature play, songs, bread-making, and puppetry storytelling.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect and share with one another in a supportive and nurturing setting.
Early Years Program
[2.5- 6 years old]
This ongoing drop-off program is designed to inspire and nurture each child’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth through music, storytelling, and self-directed play.
The environment is calming and nurturing, where children are immersed in a daily rhythm that includes play, snack time, puppetry storytelling, and child-appropriate activities such as bread-making, painting, crafting, and gardening. This structure provides children with a sense of security, giving them the time and space to develop at their own pace.
Children engage in creative exploration and artistic activities within a calm, homely setting. Through weekly activities like bread-making, painting, crafting, and outdoor nature play, they feel supported, loved, and secure as they grow and learn.
This is a place where friendships are formed, community is nurtured, and long-lasting relationships take root.
Our community is closely knit, with the relationships between parents, children, and teachers being central to the success of our initiative.
We warmly welcome volunteers to join us in growing this beautiful movement in Singapore.
