WIOS hosted the “Award Q&A Event: Understanding the Awards process” to take some of the mystery out of the process of receiving career awards. Two experts from the field of Chemosensory Science, Linda Barlow and Patricia M. Di Lorenzo, answered questions and tried to clarify doubts on which is the best path to reach a career award.

WIOS hosted a symposium at ECRO 2022
WIOS symposium was presented at ECRO 2022 (31 Aug – 3 Sept, Berlin: ECRO 2022 - Berlin -chemicalsenses).
The goal of the symposium was to highlight junior women scientists, to facilitate their transition into faculty, and also because it has been shown that the whole Covid pandemic affected women and early-career scientists more than others in their research and visibility.
