In-Service Programs
Full-day nature-based programming is available on in-service days, from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Drop off and pick up will be in the Wolseley neighbourhood, at either Vimy Ridge Park, R.A. Steen, or Omand's Creek Park, based on season and forecast.
Activities during in-service day programming include:
Child led free play
Nature exploration and adventure
Games and crafts
Field trip via city bus to explore wild spaces in a city park, such as Woodhaven Park or Assiniboine Park

Friday, October 24th, 2025 - MTS Non-Instructional Day - FULL
Monday, December 8, 2025 – ELSS Non-Instructional Day - FULL
Friday, January 23, 2025 – ELSS Non-Instructional Day - FULL
Monday, February 2, 2026 – WSD Non-Instructional Day - FULL
Friday, March 20, 2026 – WSD Non-Instructional Day
Friday, April 10, 2026 – WSD Non-Instructional Day
Friday, May 8, 2026 – WSD Non-Instructional Day
$42/participant for the day, Kindergarten & Grades 1 - 5.
Participants must come dressed appropriately for the weather, as we are outside rain, snow, or shine.
Participants should be able to safely engage with the group with a 1:6 supervision ratio. Learn more about our program facilitators here.
