Welcome to this circular walk I devised that circles three smaller reservoirs with a short canal walk near junction 12 of the M6 Motorway near Cannock. We begin at The Roundhouse, Gailey Marina on the A5, Watling Street. We continue along the towpath of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal to Rodbaston Bridge and lock. We cross the bridge and follow the lane atthe small car park. The quiet country lane  (Gailey Lea Lane) continues across the M6 Motorway then heads to Gailey Reservoirs, we enter the reservoirs and turn left, following the two pools (Gailey Lower and Gailey Upper Reservoirs) Then leave in the bottom left corner of the map taking the public footpath up to the roundabout of Junction 12 of the M6. We cross the slip roads and then cross the A5 near the roundabout and head down an embankment to Calf Heath Reservoir. We do a full circuit of this reservoir and head back to the roundhouse via the pavement of the A5. Parking available at a layby next to the roundhouse on the A5 and off a small lane leading to Calf Heath Reservoir via the small lane off Vicarage Road. Speaking to a Canal and River Trust worker on site said we were free to walk around all three reservoirs as they were owned by the Canal and River Trust.
