White Mountain Nanny, LLC (WMN) is a small, relationship-based service—so we keep the calendar intentionally balanced to show up calm, present, and reliable when with your family. This page lists the days when WMN will be unavailable during the 2026 calendar year.
Planned Time Off & Travel - 2026 Dates to Know:
May 29–31, 2026 — unavailable.
September 1-30, 2026 — Service location change: September 1–30, 2026: Services will be unavailable in the White Mountain, NH region. We will be available for childcare and pet care services on Cape Cod, MA, from September 2nd to 28th, 2026. If you’re in or near the Barnstable, MA area and would like to request support, please reach out early—availability will be limited.
Days we are Unavailable: If you need support on one of these dates, you’re welcome to ask if we can accommodate your needs—holiday coverage is occasionally offered on a limited basis with advance notice and is charged 1.5 x standard rates.

Weather & Emergency Closures-
Safety always comes first. In the event of severe weather, hazardous travel conditions, power outages, or personal emergencies, we will communicate as early as possible to reschedule if able.
Cold Weather Travel Policy (WMN) -
For safety and reliability, White Mountain Nanny, LLC may pause travel for in-home services when temperatures reach -10°F or colder (or when wind chills/road conditions make travel unsafe). Extreme cold increases the risk of vehicle failure, dangerous road conditions, and unsafe exposure during transitions. In these cases, WMN will communicate as early as possible and will gladly help reschedule.
Illness Policy (WMN) -
To help protect families, children, and overall service reliability, White Mountain Nanny, LLC (WMN) follows a simple illness policy. If a child (or anyone in the home) has a fever, vomiting/diarrhea, a suspected contagious illness, or symptoms that require close-contact medical-level care, services may be paused and rescheduled.
Likewise, if illness impacts WMN’s ability to provide care safely, clients will be notified as early as possible, and rescheduling will be offered. When symptoms are mild (such as a runny nose), WMN is happy to discuss precautions and determine what support feels appropriate for each household.
