The Welfare Management Unit (WMU) provides a variety of welfare services and assistance programmes to ensure the well-being of IIUM students.
Below are the eight main services offered to support students in their academic journey and personal welfare.
A fund that provides financial assistance to IIUM students facing financial difficulties during their studies
Manages insurance policies for students and assists in claims related to death or accidents.
Offers tuition fee waiver to selected local IIUM needy students.
Offers work experience, preparing them for future employment for local students.
Identifies students in need, supports welfare assistance, and maintains records for future reference.
Provide designated cooking spaces and facilities at mahallah for students.

Learning Tools Assistance
Other welfare services may vary based on available external assistance from the government, NGOs, Zakat, and private sectors.
