Welcome to the Walled Lake Marching Band!

The Walled Lake Marching Band is composed of students from Walled Lake Central and Walled Lake Western High Schools in Walled Lake, Michigan. The Walled Lake Marching Band was formed in 2021.

In the 2024 season, the Walled Lake Marching Band earned 1st place in the Flight I 2024 MCBA State Championships, receiving the caption awards for Outstanding Percussion, Auxiliary, Visual Effect and General Effect. In addition, WLMB earned 1st place in all 2024 local competitions in Flight I at Lakeland, Grand Blanc, Novi and Grand Ledge. WLMB performed at Grand Nationals in Indianapolis in November 2024 and placed in the top 30 marching bands in the country.

Why join marching band?

Students learn and practice valuable life skills Including communication, empathy, perseverance, responsibility, selflessness, accountability, leadership, good sportsmanship, time management, and have improved physical fitness and stamina!

New students to the marching band meet so many other students before their first year of high school begins! When they walk into 9th grade, they already have friends all across the grades and across the school!
