"Anyone can handle a crisis - it's the day-to-day living that wears you out." - Anton Chekhov

Hello and welcome to my research and teaching portfolio! I'm Dakota (she/her).

My research interests include understanding how daily stressors in the context of relationships impact well-being over time.

I've been a teaching assistant for courses ranging from Research Methods to Human Sexuality and Adult Development and Aging at two universities (Dixie State University and Oregon State University).

I received my Master's degree in 2020 and first began teaching in the Summer of 2020 with my first course- HDFS 447 (Families and Poverty).

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and you can often find me hiking and technical repelling. On rainy days, you might run into me at the rock climbing gym or in the ceramics studio!
