I never play DPS in Overwatch because there are very few gameplay I think I would really enjoy. Being a menace to both allies and enemies, however, is fun. I wanted a DPS that I would want to play and I would find funny. Blinding enemies is not ideal, yes, but it is funny and fitting for the character.

As far as I am aware, the spirituality and spirits in Overwatch lore are barely explained. Sure, there are Hanzo, Genji and Kiriko but those are only Japanese folklore spirits and legends, which, still, aren't really explained from what I know.
What about fae? Not fairy, but the fae that steal children and to whom you should never give your name? That's why.

As the twin sibling of Warmmoon, the same explanation stands. I'm not well versed in European folklore but I want to see more of it, and see more new things in OW. By that, I want a support that focus on boosting allies. Playing Mercy is fun, playing Ana is delightful, but I wanted something that combined it. Basically, a Ana with a lot of mobility. The time I had the most fun was when I played Mirrorwatch Mercy, and I want to get that feeling again.

"What if I made a healer than healed based on dealt dmg?" that was my thought process in the shower, I sent it to a friend because I use my friends' messages as sticky notes.
