A little about us.

 
Ling Chen - is from Vancouver BC where she lived for over twenty years and is a Canadian citizen.  Originally from China, she came to Canada over 25 years ago to persue her career in the Film Industry as a Visual Effects Artist. Over 20 plus years, ling has worked on movies like Star Trek, Star Wars, Spiderman, Dr Strange, Antman, and many many more features and televisions shows. Ling came to Atlanta GA over two years ago where she married Brad and started a new life here where they live full time in Atlanta. 

Brad Kalinoski - is originally from Huntington WV. Brad started his career in nursing, but after 10 years in the medical field, felt it wasnt th right fit. Brad, quit, sold his belongings and after spending 6 months studying film making and visual effects, drove his car across the country, and moved to Hollywood CA in 1996. There he landed his first job two weeks after arriving, working in R/D for facial motion capture company for a movie that was being produced by Warner Brothers and starring Jim Carey. Unfortunatley two years of work and the film never was made. But the work that Brad was involved in went on to be used in films like Spiderman, Lord Of the Rings and many many more. Brads career spans 27 years in the Film Industry and has been nominated for an British academy award (BAFTA) for his work on Black Swam starring Natile Portman and nominations for his work on LOST the final season. Brad has now over 107 feature films and TV shows under his belt, with work on the older hits like the Matrix Trilogy, Pirates movies, Spiderman and more. More recent, Dr Strange 2, Antman 2,  The Walking Dead Season 8, DMZ, Black Lightning, Dolly Partons Heartstrings, and more. Brad has now reopened his own VFX boutique where he will provide various VFX to productions around the globe. 

Ling also works right along his side as a compositor and matte painter.
We have a 11 year old that loves to play piano, speaks fluent chinese and english, loves to design and create. And we have a 32 year old that lives and works in Athens OH where she lives with her wife of 10 years. 

When we purchased these houses. We did so in the mind set that they are for relaxation. Family events. Friends gathering to set back and relax. This is how we used them. We wanted to have a place to go to rewind. Relax. And ignore the hustle of a city and current events. We love our houses that we bought in Big Canoe. And we have had the pleasure to have shared some memories there and we know how relaxing and comforting they can be. We hope you can do the same.
