Big Canoe is a gated, private residential community.
Gate access is limited to Property Owners and or Guests of Property Owners, short term rental and long term rentals only.
All guest must be registered at the North Gate and the Main gate to gain entry.

On a good day, you can see up to 40 miles as far as downtown Atlanta.

Wood stove in master bedroom.
Pool table in Loft. And much much more.
This house is slowly being updated. New windows, furniture and more will be upgraded over the next year.

EV CHARGING - KIA, TESLA, PORSCHE, AUDI, BMW, HYUNDAI and more
Ive charged my BMW i8, KIA EV6 GT, and our TOYOTA BZ4X LIMITED with no issues.
We have had guests with Teslas with no problems or issues.

WARNING ABOUT SPEED TRAPS
The POA for Big Canoe will issue speeding tickets and do use speed cameras.
In the state of GA, anything that is 11 miles over the speed limit, can be enforced and ticketed by using a speed camera.
If you are caught speeding, a picture of your car and license is sent to the owners of the home you are staying at.
A speeding ticket is $50 and you will be held responsible for cost of the ticket.
Please, be as safe as possible.
Please do not go 10 mph over the speed limit.
Please look closely for these speed cameras they are usually at the entrance of the lower level of the dam near the boat docks and beach.

Disclaimer: All of our properties are located in the mountain regions of GA. You will encounter animals and bugs of all sorts and varieties. We do our best to control any pests with periodic pest control from Orkin. And you will see the occasional bug, wasp, bee, butterflies, ants, etc etc. And even on certain occasions you will see deer and even a bear or two.
