Panel Event — Feb. 9th

In February we hosted a women+ in physics research and industry panel. Students attended a panel of 5 prominent women in academia and industry to learn more about the field and ask questions! The event ended with refreshments and casual networking. Overall, this was a great event with an excellent turn out! 👩🏽‍💻

Clay Craft Night — Jan. 29th

We did a clay craft night for our first event of term 2! Students joined us to make their own clay magnets and clay charms while enjoying pizza and fun drinks. We loved seeing everyone's fun creations! This was a super fun event to kick off term 2! 🥳

Holiday Study Night — Dec. 3rd

Our final event of term 1! We hosted a cozy study night with baked goods and a full hot chocolate bar stocked with toppings. We handed out our exam care packages and connected with new WiPA members! This event was a great way to end off a successful first term! 🍪🎄

Headshot Night — Nov. 24th

One of our final events of the term was our very popular Headshot Night! Students enjoyed free pizza and crafts before taking professional headshots in a private room. It was an amazing way to connect with others while updating headshots 📸

Study Night — Oct. 28th

Our next event was a spooky Halloween study night! Complete with Halloween music, snacks, and study resources, it was a fun way to be productive while hanging out with friends 🎃

Movie Night — Oct. 15th

Our second event of the term was a cozy movie and colouring night featuring Hidden Figures! It was a relaxing way to unwind and connect with others! 🍿

Welcome Event — Sept. 26th

We kicked off the term with our Welcome Event! This allowed prospective members to meet us, enjoy some pizza, and get creative with crafts!! It was a fun way to connect with others and learn about what WiPA is all about :)
