The mission of the Winton Historical Association (WHA) is to preserve and share the history of Winton, North Carolina, through newsletters, educational programs, and special events.  By establishing a national registered historic district, the WHA will encourage property owners and citizens to renew and develop businesses, residences, and community resources through access to grants, federal funding, and state funding.
