The Bells :
According to Dorchester and Winterbourne Team ministry website (2025), in the mid C19th, 5 of the 6 church bells were sold to pay debts.
The one surviving bell dates from 1746 and was cast by William Knight of Closworth in Somerset (see** below)
After WW2 in 1947, five new bells were hung as a memorial to those who had died in WW2.
However, the details (Dove's Guide of 2017) of the six bells are shown below but all six bells are noted as dating from 1947 ?? **

The Font dates from Norman times
The Pulpit dates from c1626 originally a 3 decker pulpit with a pulpit, clerk's seat and lectern.
The Roof : Barrel or waggon type Roof dates from c1626
Stained Glass : The church is unusual in that it has no stained glass in its windows.
Church Band : The church band formed in the C19th was highly regarded.
Electric lighting : was installed in 1938.
