• heading (HDG) by numbers and graphic display

• boatspeed by numbers

• winddirection by numbers and graphic display

• windspeed by numbers

• true wind angle (TWA) by numbers and graphic display

• apparent wind angle (AWA) by numbers and graphic display

• velocity made good (VMG) by numbers

• shows the red "In Irons" zone and other zones where the use of spinnaker, gennaker, winged sails and even hydrofoils are effective

WindCompass supports Boss and BWind systems.

When sitting on boat, WindCompass attempts a boat detection and loads the correct layout and boat performance data.

For most Bandit and TMS boats there are boom angle numbers on the outer ring to help trimming the sails.
Colored numbers suggest, what number to trim the sail to.

If both skipper and crew using a WindCompass, the skipper can synchronize winddirection and -speed on the crews Compass.
This might be useful for practice purposes or sailing lessons.
