Options

Reset all scripts and load defaults 

Note: Exceptionally these settings survive a Reset:

• Size and Appearance - Go to Options > Edit > Restore

• User Channel - Go to Options > Channel > enter "ch off"

• Shouter Channels and Name - Click the little Gear icon by the Shouter and Reset there.

The BASIC layout gives a simpler look with way less information - suitable for Beginners.

• toggles PRO and BASIC layout
  All functions remain accessible.

(Default: PRO)

toggles TWA / AWA Layout,
(if allowed by the boat database)

opens the NAV-Settings menu 

Choose from 12 textcolors for:

• NAV-Infotext

• HDG / Spd

• Wind- and Raceinfotext

• Telemetry text

(Default: White)

To help find a boat quickly after a crash, on rez, WindCompass shows your last known position with a TP-link.

(Default: OFF)

Change the size and appearance of the WindCompass

• Size = Resize the HUD

• Text = adjust text height to fit textplate,
  Note: After resizing, use Text height buttons to center the text vertically

• Alpha = adjust opacity

• Ring = toggle between the default Ring  and  a Ring with 360° numbers

• Needle >> = Select Needle Layout:   Individual >> Generic >> Just a Needle

• Swap Text = swap positions of HDG/Spd <> Telemetry text

• Restore = resets Size, Text height and Alpha

Change the sound settings

• Sound Off  (Default: ON)

• Set volume (Default: middle)

After return from a Crash (not a Disconnect Crash) this function pings the lost boat, and if it responds, it sends its position with TP link.
(only available, if the boat is equipped with Info Hud or the Responder script - see AddOns)

Note: only active, if the detected boat info is still stored in Compass.
If you sit elsewhere, the stored boat info might be deleted.

WindCompass listens to and sends commands on a chat channel. Put your personal boat channel number here.

• Add your boat channel number here.

• To remove your channel number, enter    ch off

• You can enter additional commands as well:
  Read FAQ > Extras > Additional Commands  or read the Setup Page

Note: The User Channel number will be permanently saved and survives a Reset.

Checks for latest WindCompass Version.

Note: the Updater Script "~CasperUpdate" is not dependant. You can delete it, if you wish so. (You may use the Unpacker Hud to check for updates.)
