This is the most common type of glaucoma and slowly damages more of your vision with time.

1 out of 4 people worldwide have this type. Asians are more likely to have Primary Open Angle Glaucoma.

“Secondary” means something else we know caused the high eye pressure and glaucoma. This can be many things, from injury to the eye or an old eye surgery.

This is a rare condition that occurs in babies and young children and may be inherited.
