Winter Cross Training and Practices
All our club members and family members joined together for a fun trail ride at the Pocomoke State Forest Park.
Winter doesn’t slow us down — it just sends us indoors! We’re excited to share about our upcoming Indoor Racket Practices, designed to keep players moving, learning, and having fun as we gear up for the 2026 polocrosse season.
These sessions are open to all ages and experience levels, and new players are always welcome. Whether you’ve never held a racket before or you’re looking to sharpen your skills during the off-season, our indoor practices focus on drills, fun games, and skill-building in a relaxed, supportive environment.
We are working on hand-eye coordination, ball control, teamwork, and game awareness — all without the pressure of competition. It’s a great way to stay connected with the club, meet other players, and try something new.

Hailey played on an all-junior D Grade team with her Heartland crew and Helen from Texas — basically a dream team of chaos, laughs, and determination. They didn’t snag first, but they did pull off some epic plays, tackled every curveball thrown their way, and worked together beautifully!
Lilly’s B Grade team was the perfect mashup: our visiting “adopted” daughter Teija from Zambia, power couple Jeremy & Ashley (who coached Lilly this year), and Ian and Allen Duff, the unstoppable junior brother duo. The chemistry was spot-on — they played gritty, fierce, and finished the weekend as undefeated champions!
What a weekend on the Shore! Riders from near and far came together for fast-paced play, great sportsmanship, and plenty of laughs at the Eastern Shore Classic — Willow Pond’s home tournament in Pocomoke City, Maryland. From exciting matchups and gritty teamwork to campfire chats and new friendships, the event captured everything we love about polocrosse. A huge thank-you to our players, volunteers, and sponsors who made it all possible — we can’t wait to see everyone back next year!
Lane and Coley made their tournament debut in E Grade, showing heart and hustle every chukka. Lane’s hard work and natural feel for the game stood out, earning him Best Player honors in his division! Coley jumped in for chukkles and showed she’s ready to make her mark. In B Grade, Lilly, Hailey, and Teija (visiting from Zambia) teamed up for some tough, fast-paced matches — and Lilly’s leadership and skill earned her Best Player in B Grade!
