Bottle Cap Magnets

Behold, my first physical product! I am happy to introduce the first series of bottle cap paintings in my collection.

Each bottle cap is hand painted and sealed with mod podge to prevent cracking and to allow the painting to be handled for use as a magnet (indoors only recommended). The acrylic paint and bottle caps are sourced secondhand, and bottle caps are cleaned and sterilized before painting.

I am currently selling these bottle caps locally where I am (See Facebook Marketplace). I will consider listing these on my Etsy shop to be available for shipping once I develop further.

Original Artwork

Every piece is unique and made with love, as well as painstaking attention to detail. Each painting is signed by the artist (yours truly).

Strong Magnet

Backing magnets have a Gauss rating of 975. Strong adhesion ensures magnet won't fall apart through repeated use.

Gift Packaging

Each bottle cap painting comes with optional gift packaging made entirely from natural and upcycled materials. Wax and string colors vary depending on materials available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why bottle cap paintings?

I've always liked the idea of micro paintings and prefer to upcycle when possible. The size of the bottle cap seemed perfect for experimenting with very small paintings. They don't take much time and are affordable for those looking to possess original artwork. The magnet backing was added on for extra functionality.

How long does it take to make a bottle cap painting?

Each painting takes around an hour or two depending on the complexity of the design. Sealing the painting with mod podge and adhering the magnet takes about another half hour of active time and an hour and a half of cure time.

Are you currently taking commissions?

I am not. However, you can absolutely send me recommendations for new paintings and other products by contacting me on any of the platforms listed on this site.

What is that packaging made out of?

I am so glad you asked. The packaging is a pillow box comprised of empty paper towel roll (absolutely no toilet paper rolls), thread, and a wax seal. The inside is stuffed with clean shredded newspaper.
