Wilcox Elementary School PTSA
Engaging and Empowering Families and Communities
The purpose of the National PTA, the Hawaii State PTSA, and the Wilcox Elementary School PTSA is to promote the welfare of children and youth through advocacy and educational programs directed toward parents, teachers, and the general public.
New ideas are always welcome!
Keeping our PTSA fresh, exciting, and effective depends on input from our community. You’re encouraged to share your thoughts—whether anonymously on paper, by speaking up at a meeting, or by having a private conversation with any of our PTSA officers or committee chairs.
Your voice matters, and we’d love to hear from you!

In order to run effectively, we need your help! In 2027 we may not have a PTSA if more volunteers do not step up to the plate. Even if you can just help organize receipts in a binder once every week or two, or count monies after a fundraiser, or email in a vote, it makes the difference between your child being able to take grade level field trips, receive monthly assembly prizes, participate in the Fun Run, and provides our teachers with the financial support for all those extras that make the school year more meaningful and memorable for all.
The bylaws state that the current President and Vice President cannot stay in their positions for more than 2-years, and those terms end in 2027, so we are ACTIVELY looking to recruit volunteers who are able to learn the jobs in the upcoming year, to keep this positive program running.
We don't need a few people doing everything, but rather many people doing small things!
