Ava Nicholas
(Reggie Fluty) is grateful to be a part of Woodinville High School Theater Company’s production of The Laramie Project. She feels that Laramie is a deeply meaningful show, and she has learned much about the treatment LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her through her high school career. She looks forward to performing in one of her final productions at Woodinville High School.

Dani Petersen (Lucy Thompson, Aaron Kreifels, Shadow, Andrew Gomez) is honored to be able to share the important story of Matthew Shepard. After years of musicals, she is so thankful for this opportunity to put on a kind of play she’s never done before and use the stage to tell this powerful story. Dylan Bussell (Jedadiah Schultz, Doug Laws, Dr. Cantway, Fred Phelps) is in his second show with the WHS Theatre Company, and he is beyond excited to put The Laramie Project on stage. This show is incredibly important to him and he believes there’s a real message here that needs to be heard, and he is incredibly honored to be part of it.
Emilee Bierlink
(Amanda Gronich, Tiffany Edwards, Murdock Cooper, Cal Rerucha) is glad to be doing this impactful play on the WHSTC stage. Although she may not relate to every character she plays she finds it important to tell this story and is grateful that this is one of her first shows at WHS.
Isabelle Cobbley
(Rebecca Hiliker and Stephen Mead Johnson) is a junior this year and is so excited to be in WHS Theatre Company’s production of The Laramie Project. This will be her fifth show in the department. She would like to thank her fellow actors, tech crew, and amazing production team for their hard work. She would also like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her!

(Understudy) is overjoyed to have joined the WHSTC. She has been anticipating this opportunity for many years and is honored to be part of such an impactful show. Over the years, Kira has enjoyed roles in several shows, including The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Aristocats, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music and last year's WHSTC production of Legally Blonde. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support.

(Leigh Fondakowski, Alison Mears, Zackie Salmon) is thankful to be able to be a part of this challenging play. Learning all of the history and playing these roles was very eye opening, and she is grateful for the opportunity and experience this play has brought.

(Greg Pierotti, Detective Sergeant Hing, Murdock Cooper, Bill McKinney) is excited to be a part of sharing this meaningful and consequential story through performance. She believes that this show will impress the audience and give them a first-hand view of a real-life tragedy that took place in this country. She hopes that the WHS Theatre Company is able to portray this production with the full power it should represent.
Mario D'Ambrosio
(Stephen Belber, Father Schmidt, Governor Geringer, Bailiff #1) avidly anticipates his third straight play as part of the WHS Theatre Company. He knows that broaching the themes of real life murder and homophobia is a blatant change of pace for the group, but believes that this story taking place in Laramie, WY can still be told evocatively. He only hopes in the process that his own characters can carry Matthew Shepard’s story forward to modern audiences.
Mya Hariri
(Rulon Stacey, Phil Labrie, Dennis Shepard) is proud to say she is a part of The Laramie Project through a variety of different characters, all of whom bring depth and anguish to the stage. This time last year, she made her debut on the WHSTC stage and has loved every moment since. The past year has taught her so much, and she can’t wait to share with you what she has learned in this incredibly vulnerable yet significant production.
Natty Crowley
(Philip Dubois, Priest, Rob Debree, Bill Mckinney, and Harry Woods) is a senior, and proud of all the hard work and dedication everyone has put into this show. She hopes this informs, inspires, and shows that there is hope in the world. In the words of Harry Woods, Thank you, Matthew.
Samantha Bachler
(Jon Peacock and others) is glad to be a part of this production as the company explores more complicated themes. It's not every day that a high school theater takes on a serious show like this, and it's clear that on every level of production the company has taken Father Roger Schmit's words to heart - it's clear the company has done our best to tell the story correct.
Sarah Nitsche
(Catherine Connolly, Sherry Johnson, and Barbara Pitts) appreciates the opportunity to perform in The Laramie Project and be part of telling an important story. She is a junior and this is her fifth production at Woodinville High School. She has acted in Oklahoma and Legally Blonde and did hair and makeup for last year’s plays. She hopes the audience will learn something from this production and will find an important takeaway.
