We’re proud to be the only charity set up in memory of the late Diana, Princess of Wales and her belief that young people have the power to change the world. Our mission is to empower young people to lead that change through a range of initiatives which unlock their potential, inspire action and create opportunities, ensuring that no young person is left out or left behind.
We can’t achieve this alone, by working with young people and partners we can create the change we want to see in the world.
Creating tangible impact in the lives of young people is at the core of everything we do at The Diana Award. We impact young people’s life experience and enable them to participate in this world as positive and self-confident changemakers. We appreciate that impact comes in many shapes – big and small; sometimes a good conversation with the right person at the right time can make all the difference.
Inspired by the late Princess Diana's belief that young people have the power to the change the world, our team work to make that change a reality. Change is a team effort and together we're building a business we're proud of, together.
Day-to-day you’ll find us working in the community with young people through our anti-bullying, mentoring and changemakers' initiatives, fundraising, managing our valued corporate partners, providing vital HR and communications support, celebrating young people and much, much more.
Therefore, through The Diana Award Mentoring Programme, we aim to:
Build character and resilience in young people
Improve workplace readiness and increase social mobility
Instil active citizenship through youth-led social action
