Pet Bus

If you live in another part of New Zealand and need rats to be sent out of Auckland, then please read this page in its entirety to find out more information of how it works and what it will cost. 

You can find further details on the Pet Bus website. They cover a majority of NZ, but for the areas that they do not cover, Northland Courier is their shuttle bus. 

When you fill out our adoption questions, your location is taken into consideration and I will assume that transport will need to be arranged unless discussed otherwise. I only book rats onto Pet Bus when payment for them is cleared. To secure a spot on Pet Bus, it's best to pay immediately so that they can be booked in. Pet Bus only operate once a month, towards the end of the month so please keep this in mind as I have to take the time to arrange everything for them. 

North Island 2-4 Rats - $97.75 + $50 Fee = $147.75 Total

South Island 2-4 Rats $126.50 + $50 Fee = $176.50 Total

These prices include GST.

I will only send rats in pairs on Pet Bus, unless there are special circumstances. 

I charge a $50 fee that covers these costs:

-Travel cage

-Food bowl, water bottle & cardboard hide

-Hammock

-Drop off at meeting point

If you'd like additional items added to the carrier or a specific travel cage, then please let me know and I will purchase these for you. I try to keep costs low for the travel cage as I understand that it is expensive. 

Pet Bus will invoice you directly, and you can either pay online or at the door upon pick-up.
