Q: What educational philosophy does Illumination embody?

A: What a great question! We haven't found a name for it yet - we believe we're combining the best practices from multiple philosophies that we've been exposed to over the years. Classical, Charlotte Mason, Traditional, Pragmatism,  Essentialism, Contemporary - any curriculum that allows us to create life-long learners who are ready for life in the 21st Century. 

Q: What if I have children older than the K-6 range?

A: Should enough parents have a need and an interest in providing supervision for older children outside of their Illumination responsibilities, Illumination will consider their request for space.

Q: What if I have children younger than the K-3 range?

A: On-site childcare is provided for younger children. They will have plenty of opportunities for free play as well as to participate in enrichment activities. 

Q: Will there be a dress code?

A: We ask for everyone to wear weather appropriate clothing (we like to go outside!) and closed-toed shoes to keep everyone safe as we move around whether inside or out.
