During the project, the pupils in 2nd Class worked with Monaghan based artist Marc Kelly. They studied local church buildings and ruins.The class visited some of the church sites in the parish to help plan and give focus to the project ahead.

The site visits were the starting point for the children who create different styles of church buildings and church windows based on their observations. They used wood, paint, buttons, glitter and glue.
