The Doctoral Consortium is held each year on a different campus of the Alliance. For its 11th edition, The Wharton School in Philadelphia will be hosting the event.

Participants from INSEAD will be staying at The Study, our superb on-campus hotel.

From Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Option 1: You can reserve a train ticket from Amtrak. The train leaves from the EWR rail station. To get there, look for signs for the AirTrain in your terminal. You will take the AirTain to the EWR rail station. Amtrak gets pricey closer to time, so we encourage you to book your ticket in advance.

Option 2: You can take the local trains NJ TRANSIT and SEPTA. You would first take the NJ Transit from EWR to Trenton. You would then transfer to the SEPTA train to Philadelphia Center City. This trip planner is very helpful for coordinating transportation. The stops you would need to enter would be "Newark Liberty International Airport" and "30th Street Station."

Purchased in advance (~3 weeks), Option 1 is cheaper ($18-24) and faster (1 hr). However, Option 1 is more restrictive in that you may need to book a later train given airport delays. Option 2 is a bit more expensive compared to a ticket purchased in advance ($30), but is typically cheaper closer to time and last minute. Option 2 is easier because there are often trains running up to and just past midnight and tickets can be purchased at the EWR Rail Station. We encourage you to check train timings to make a decision that is easiest for you.

From Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

Option 1: You can take the SEPTA regional ($7-$10) from the PHL to 30th Street Station. Use this schedule to coordinate train timings.

Option 2: You can take a Taxi/Uber/Lyft from PHL to the hotel (~$25).

Getting to the hotel is walking distance from 30th St Station in Philadelphia (10 min) or a short Taxi/Uber/Lyft ride away.
