2025 Year in Review

Presented by last year's HOF winner, Jan Holmes.

It was my honor to chair the Hall of Fame Committee this year.  I would like to thank my fellow committee members Stevie Lamar, Mary Riorden, Jeanne Hartman and Cindi Isaacson.

There were five nominees for the award this year.  Every one of them were deserving candidates.  Thank you to those who submitted forms.  Remember that nominations do not carry over, so if your nominee was not selected, nominate them again next year.  

This year's honoree has been a member of the Bella Vista Women's Golf Club for over thirty years and has been involved extensively during those years.

She has chaired the Handicap, Scoring, Telephone and Communications committees and was how messages went out before we had a web page.

She has also served on the Rules, Social, Special Tournaments, Big Sister/Little Sister, Pairings, and Golf Software committees.

She received the Arvest Attendance Award in 2013 and 2014.  For those who weren't here when we had that award, it meant that she played every Thursday throughout the year.  What dedication!

She was the Senior Net Champion in 2015 and was Most Improved Golfer by Strokes in 2016.

I am happy to announce that this year's Hall of Fame award goes to Marylin Garris.
