The QA Global Comment Code list is used by all imagery and modeling teams both in-house and offshore to audit imagery & model quality in live time, track common issues and identify trends in our imagery and models. Having standardized comments codes help identify and communicate more effectively with cross-functional teams and allow for more efficiency when commenting. In addition, more precise, predetermined codes allows for less subjectivity and less room for interpretation across all partners.
The QA comment code list is comprised of 8 categories, each with multiple subcategories that make up all the elements of a 3D image:

Comment Code Structure
The structure of an accurate comment code is made up of four parts:
Numerical Code: [44] in the below example
Code Category: SKU Material in the below example
Code Subcategory: Color in the below example
Text Description: The back circle bracket of the light should be the same gold as the base of the globe and the long gold line structure in the below example.
The Text Description area within the comment is a crucial part of the commenting structure. Best practices are to:
Include a detail of the area of the image or model you are referring to
Include accurate, descriptive and detailed wording when commenting
Include which option you are referring to if there are multiple options within the SKU
Include estimated percentages whenever possible when asking for more or less of something
