Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment of Risk – Greystone Pickleball
Participation in Greystone Pickleball activities is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk. All organized play takes place on public courts maintained by the Westford Parks and Recreation Department, which is solely responsible for the maintenance, safety, and condition of the facilities. Any concerns related to the courts’ condition or safety must be directed to the Westford Parks and Recreation Department.
Participants fully acknowledge that Pickleball is an inherently dangerous sport that carries a risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or even death. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls, collisions with other players, overexertion, or injuries resulting from court conditions, weather, or other environmental factors.
By participating in any Greystone Pickleball event or activity, all individuals voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release, waive, and discharge Greystone Pickleball, including its organizers, volunteers, and representatives, from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or related to their participation.
Greystone Pickleball operates solely as a facilitator of organized play, communication, and equipment coordination, and does not assume any responsibility for the physical safety of participants or the condition of the courts.
