High School Ultimate

High School Open:

In the fall, the "open program" (mostly boys, but available to anyone regardless of gender) runs a mini season where we mix all skill levels to help teach the game to new players from September to early November.  Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30 to 5:30.  Games are about every other weekend.  If at home, we play Sunday afternoons at Edison.  If away, we have 2-3 larger away events within a hour bus ride from Westfield.

In the spring, it is the main season for Ultimate Frisbee (March through early June) with the formation of an A Team, B Team, and possibly more depending on our numbers.  Every player makes a team sorted by their skill and athleticism level.  Practices are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afterschool.  There are games on about 3 out of every 4 weekends with home games Sunday afternoon at Edison.  Each team tends to have an away game each month within an hour bus ride from Westfield.  In addition, our A and top B team takes an overnight trip each year usually to Massachusetts or Virginia.  The season culminates with the State Championships on Memorial Day Weekend.

Base Team Dues = $500

Each Overnight Event = $475 (2 for A, 1 for B)

This actually represents a REDUCTION over last year!  Haven't seen that in awhile!
