Notice to Residents: Road Work & Paving

Public Works has begun road maintenance in Western Shores Estates.

Work Details:

• Shoulder Cutting: Trimming back shoulders from 6 inches to 1 foot from the road's edge.

• Roto Milling: South Shore Dr., Western Shores Blvd., and driveways will be milled.

• Overlay Mill Joints: Driveways will have mill joints overlaid.

• Repairs: Necessary repairs will be made before paving begins.

Resident Instructions:

• Do not park on or near affected areas—ensure vehicles are moved to allow work to proceed.

• Vehicles blocking work zones will be towed.

Once all repairs and milling are complete, the paving will begin April 7th.

March 24, 2025 - ATTENTION

Calvert County Public Works will be paving our streets in the near future. They will begin cutting back the shoulders in preparation as soon as today (3/24) or tomorrow (3/25). Please make sure your vehicle(s) are parked in a way that won’t obstruct the work, as any vehicles blocking the area will be towed. The dates for the paving will be provided as soon as we have them.
